Agenda Day Three August 23 & 26, 2013
1. In groups, students discuss and review “Cinderella’s Stepsisters” Author’s Purpose, Intended Message, and My Reaction. Each group shares their response with the class.
2. Continuing in groups, students discuss unfamiliar words and their context clues from “Cinderella’s Stepsisters” and share with the class.
3. SAT Voc. #1 Continuing in groups, students review definitions, companion forms, synonyms and antonyms for each vocabulary word. Each student should have their individual copy of everything to study for the upcoming test. (Test will be scheduled one week from today pending other extraneous circumstances i.e., district tests etc.)
4. Students individually write a sentence for each vocabulary word. Underline context clue, identify the type of context clue.
